AOL Ad Killer

This program will remove most adverts from windows in AOL. It will also fix the current problem of AOL taking focus away from the text box in chat rooms when the ad changes. Click here for more information about this problem.

How to use:
Simply open the program, and tick the Enable box.
When ads are removed, the name of window that they were removed from and the date/time will be shown in the list box. You can also tick the other box to make it only remove chat room ads (see notes below).
The other two settings shouldn't need adjusting, but they are the time between each check for ads and the delay between when an ad is detected and when it is removed. This is to allow for things like PowerTools loading its chat window before removing the ad.
If you leave the program running and enabled, any ads on new windows that are opened in AOL will be removed.

This program should work with PowerTools, but it may not. If it does not, you could try leaving and re-entering the chat room with this program running and enabled.

Notes:
Once the ad has been removed from a chat room, if you wish to enter another room (or re-enter the same room), you must first close the chat room window otherwise AOL will not change rooms properly. Similar behaviour also occurs with some other windows (ones which have back and forward buttons to display different items, and also ads). This is why you may want to enable the Chat room only option.
